Building One sits inside the Tower Bridge Business Centre on Drummond Road, and for years it was the flagship of The Arch, the wall that did more than any other to put Bermondsey on London’s bouldering map. Since Climbing District acquired the Arch estate it trades under the new name, on the group’s single pricing structure, with membership valid across every London venue.
It remains bouldering only, which is increasingly the exception among the larger London walls. Expect a broad spread of grades, a strong regulars scene, and the slightly industrial feel that comes with a genuine converted warehouse rather than a purpose built shed.
