About Westway Climbing Centre
The climbing wall at the Westway Sports & Fitness Centre, tucked under the elevated A40 in North Kensington, has been running since 1994 and bills itself as London's biggest. It's mainly a roped venue, with more than 350 routes on 110 lines up to 13.5m and five auto-belays, run by Everyone Active as part of the wider sports centre.
The bouldering area covers over 450 sq m with up to 150 problems, reset every month, and there's a training room with a systems board, circuit board, campus board and Beastmaker finger boards. New boulderers need to do the Introduction to Bouldering course (or register as a competent roped climber) before they can buy a casual session.
